If you love great smoked produce then Kilnsey Park Estate is the place for you. We’ve produced our famous rainbow trout here since 1978, there’s an award-winning smokehouse on site.
We still produce our fish the old-fashioned way, from lake to plate. Our smoked trout is produced traditionally, without compromise. The fresh fish are gutted and filleted by hand, then soaked in brine before being placed in the smokehouse ovens. Hot smoke from smouldering oak sawdust cooks the fish traditionally to produce a delicately flavoured naturally succulent smoked trout. Winner of Great Taste Gold.
Our smoked fish can be eaten in our café or taken home from the Estate Shop. It is also supplied to leading restaurants and pubs across Yorkshire.
We will be launching the smokehouse online in late 2015.
