Kilnsey Park is in Upper Wharfedale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, mid-way between the picturesque villages of Grassington and Kettlewell. We encourage visitors to arrive by public transport where possible.
Car: 11 miles north of Skipton (B6160) and 27 miles west of Harrogate (A59/B6265). Postcode for Sat Nav: BD23 5PS. Parking at Kilnsey Park is free.
Bus: There is a daily bus service (number 72) from Skipton to Grassington, with a connecting minibus service from Grassington to Bucken which calls at Kilnsey (service 72B). Train: The nearest railway station is Skipton, 15 miles away. From there take either a bus or a taxi.
Cycle: We are located on the National Cycle Network (Regional Route 10), Dales Cycleway and 2014 Tour de France route. Bike racks and free water refills available.
Foot: Walking is a fantastic way of seeing the Yorkshire Dales. There are a number of short and long distance trails in the area – for great information about local walks we recommend the Where2Walk website. Kilnsey Park is just 1.5 miles off the Dales Way (Conistone) and 4 miles from the Pennine Way (Malham Tarn).
