Careers

Kilnsey Park is a unique and thriving business that combines a well-established fish farm with a popular visitor attraction, offering fly fishing lakes and family fishing, animal encounters, nature walks on the Kilnsey Trail and environmental education.

We have a number of new vacancies:

  • Fish Farm Manager – full-time permanent
  • Fish Farm Operative – part-time permanent
  • Seasonal farm staff – Easter to late-Summer 2025

Fish Farm Manager

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Fish Farm Manager to oversee fish farm operations while enhancing and managing the visitor experience side of the estate.

With previous experience in a similar role, you will be a sound decision maker, who can work autonomously. You’ll ideally have supervisory and people management skills and will be able to coordinate the work of other individuals to ensure the smooth operation of the fish farm.

We’re looking for an individual who can work with minimal supervision and enjoy a ‘hands-on’ role in a farming environment. A passion for fish farming, with high standards of animal welfare, and an interest in exploring new opportunities and developing the business is key.

See the job description below for further details:

Ideally, you will have had some experience in a similar role, though training will be provided.  You’ll have good people skills and be a team player.

Further development opportunities are available for those who have the potential.
