Roger and Rosy bugs 2013Conservation partners

Kilnsey Park Estate works closely with a number of local organisations to conserve the Yorkshire Dales landscape and wildlife. Click on the links below to find out more about the organisations and what they do.

Upper Wharfedale Field Society – we would like to thank the members of Wharfedale Field Society who visit Kilnsey Park on a very frequent basis during the flowering season and identify and mark the various plants for the benefit of all of our visitors.

Yorkshire Dales Society – we are proud to be corporate members of the society and support its work to preserve what’s special about the Yorkshire Dales.

Wharfedale Naturalists Society – the Society organise moth nights at Kilnsey.

Upper Wharfedale Heritage Group – the Estate is working with UWHG to record and interpret the historic landscape around Kilnsey.

Yorkshire Dales National Park – we are supporting the Park’s parish wildlife project.

Natural England – our partner on the Lady’s Slipper reintroduction programme. Our thanks to Colin Newlands who has been a great supporter of the project.

Buglife – partners on our bug events.

British Wildlife Centre – key partners in the national red squirrel captive breeding programme
