Kilnsey Park launched National Fishing Month with a special family fishing event
The annual celebration of fishing got underway as 30 families were introduced to the joys of fishing for the first time at a Parent & Child Day.
“Our skilled team of coaches made sure that everyone got to grips with the basics, everyone experienced the excitement of catching a fish and most importantly everyone had fun!” said Kilnsey Park owner Jamie Roberts.
Event leaders Jeff Metcalfe and Mark Gambles received some wonderful feedback, including this comment from CL: “The expertise and good humour of the gentlemen leading the course helped a child who never pushes herself forward to have confidence and see the potential of a new skill and hobby. She was so proud to provide a delicious supper for her family. Thank you.”
