Clear-out Event – ‘Any Method’

Periodically we hold Clear-out events to clear out all the fish stocks from our lakes, we do this to remove any fish which have become ‘fly-shy’ during the busy summer months, slim fish which have over-wintered, and fish which have been damaged or marked by predators. 

In doing this, we maintain the high quality stock which our fly fishing customers can expect.

The lakes are kept fully stocked leading up to the event and fully re-stocked immediately afterwards with a full range of sizes and types (Rainbow / Blue / Brown etc).

Please note that we are closed to general/walk-in anglers on Any Method days.

Format

• You can fish from where you want – no pegs will be allocated
• Gutting & filleting service available, for a charge (see below)

Dates & Times;

• Monday 24th November
• Gates open 7.30am
• No fishing before 8am
• All fish to processing room by no later than 2pm.
• Fishing ends at 3pm

Prices

• £50 per ticket*
• *This does not include fish processing and loyalty card stamps are not redeemable.
• Pay on the day

Processing

• Gutting (and head & tail off if wanted) service available at 50p per fish
• Filleting available at £1.50 per fish

Booking

• To book places please contact us
• A maximum of 4 people per booking

Any Method Rules

• Bag Limit: 20 fish, any size, any colour (brown, blue etc.)
• No fish to be returned to the water.
• No ground baiting, swim feeders or throwing bait in during or after the event!
• Bait can only be placed on your hook.
• Cancellations must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the event
