Accessibility
The main visitor area of Kilnsey Park is wheelchair and pushchair accessible.
The car park is level with the exception of two speedbumps leading up the drive.
The cafe is accessible without any steps. The outside patio is also step-free (there are four steps at the lakeside access but the access by the main cafe entrance does not have any steps).
The toilets are accessible without any steps and there is a disabled toilet with wide doors.
The Family Fishing Pond is partially accessible along a gravel footpath.
The Fly Fishing lakes have a wheelchair accessible fishing peg close to the cafe, which can be pre-booked. The rest of the fishing lakes are not easily accessible as the path is narrow and sometimes unsurfaced.
The Discovery Trail is a gravelled footpath and nature trail that leads around the site. This is only accessible in its lower portion. Entry is via a wide wooden bridge. The lower part of the Trail – where the farm animals and red squirrels can be seen – has a slight incline leading from the entrance and the gravel footpath is uneven in places. The upper Trail, starting from the bridge below the hydropower turbine house, has a gravel footpath which is often uneven and ascends a reasonably steep incline that is not easily traversed by wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Baby changing facilities are available in the disabled toilet.
