Fly Fishing at Kilnsey Park

Our family-run fishery welcomes anglers of all standards to our two fly fishing lakes which are open all year round, fishing well throughout the winter and during the hot summer months due to being springwater-fed. The lakes are both approximately one acre in size and regularly stocked with hard-fighting Rainbow, Blue, Brown and Golden trout from 2lb to over 20lb, all grown to the highest standards in the pristine mineral-rich waters of our own on-site Trout Farm.

Kilnsey Park Fishing Lakes host fishing courses and events throughout the year as well as offering personal fishing tuition for anglers of all standards. We are an accredited TROUTMASTER water.

Our facilities

We offer a full range of hot food and drinks in the café, a free fish processing service, and sell a small range of fishing essentials in the ticket office. The car parks, shop and café are adjacent to the lakes, with easy lakeside fishing access for all abilities. To find out more about our facilities click here.

Your fishing ticket also allows you free access to view our trout farming process – from the limestone spring, through the fingerling raceways and down through the hydro electric plant, and then through our lower raceways and show ponds, where you can see our Blue, Brown and Golden trout growing in pristine springwater.
