New Fishery Record – 21 lb Rainbow
Anthony Smiths 21lb catch – released safely and there to catch again. This takes over from Kieths 17.4lb Rainbow as the new fishery record.
We only stocked this fish on the morning it was caught, and we weighed it when we stocked it (at slightly over 21lb) as it was obviously going to beat Kieths 17.4lb record. The boards on the pier where it was caught and pictured are 6″ wide with 1″ gaps, so the fish is well over 30″ long – 2.5ft!!! and very deep bellied and wide too.
This fish is there to be caught again, so if it manages to put on an ounce or too you could beat the fishery record again.
